Parent and Family Engagement Event - August 28th 5:30-7:30

- Bus Parents - A Friendly Reminder - Starting Monday August 26th students will be required to have a bus tag to ride in the morning & the afternoon. Thank you for your cooperation!

Student water bottles must be clear and only contain water. No other drink in the classrooms will be permitted. Water is sold at the front office for 50¢ . Students may bring their drink of choice (soda, Gatorade, juice, tea) in their lunchbox only.

***High School Girls Basketball Parent Meeting Reminder*** Just a reminder that there will be a parent meeting for those who wish to try out for the High School Girls Basketball Program Tonight, at 6:00PM in the High School Game Gym.

Stanton Cross Country will be hosting their annual 5K this year on September 7th. It will start at 9 am Saturday morning. Below is a course map, we will start and end at the middle school. If you fill out the google form attached. ***High School Volleyball Parent Meeting*** On Thursday, August 1st there will be a Parent Meeting for all of the girls who wish to tryout for the Volleyball team who will be in High School for the 2024-2025 School Year. The meeting will start at 5:30 PM in the High School Gym. If your child wishes to tryout, you should attend the meeting. There will be a separate meeting for Middle School parents at a later date. *** Summer Strength and Conditioning Information *** This Summer, both Boys and Girls will be doing Strength and Conditioning at the same time. We will start on June 3rd and will go every Monday through Thursday starting at 7:00AM and going through 8:30 AM. Each Head Coach will communicate their Sports Specific Training Schedules to the athletes. We will be using a Summer Specific SportsYou to communicate with everyone. All Boys and Girls who are going into 7th-12th Grades should join this group. A weekly schedule will be sent out every Sunday afternoon and any changes or updates will be sent out as soon as possible. The access code to join the Summer SportsYou is: AMHB-EQP4 We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday Moring!!!

We have a few things coming up for the SHS Band before we take a break for the summer. Please make sure you are there for these rehearsals, they will help us determine spots in the marching band for the upcoming season! Here's what's coming up:

Tomorrow, May 23rd, school will release at 1:00pm. Also, a reminder that Summer School letters have gone home with students. STAAR scores should arrive soon and we will be in contact soon if your Summer School status should change. Let's make tomorrow the BEST last day of school!

Physicals for the 2024-2025 School Year will be held on Tuesday, May 21st. Who needs a physical? -Any student who is entering the 7th, 9th, or 11th Grade wishing to participate in Band or Athletics. -Any student who has been under Doctor's Care. -Any first time participant. High School Students will be able to get their physicals at the High School from 8:15 A.M.- 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 21st. Middle School Students will be able to get their physicals at the Middle School from 8:15 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 21st. Prior to getting your physical, you must fill out and bring the Medical History Form. Medical History forms can be picked up at the High School and Middle School Front offices.

*** 2024 Stanton High School Summer Sports Camps*** Stanton High School will be offering Summer camps for Tennis, Boys and Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, and Softball. (Football camp will be announced at a later date). Flyers can be picked up at the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School front offices. We are looking forward to seeing all of the campers this Summer!!!
